Instructions

Start with winding all three skeins of yarn into balls. The majority of the skulls will be worked in continuous rounds, except for the chin/teeth part with is added with a separate ball of yarn and worked in rows.

SKULL BASE (MAKE 4)

RND 1: with white yarn, make a magic ring and sc 6, pull ring tight (6). (Fig. A)

RND 2: inc 6 (12)

RND 3: [sc, inc] 6 times (18)

RND 4: [sc, inc, sc] 6 times (24)

RND 5: [inc, sc 3] 6 times (30) (Fig. B)

RND 6: [sc 2, inc, sc 2] 6 times (36)

RND 7: [inc, sc 5] 6 times (42)

RND 8: [sc 3, inc, sc 3] 6 times (48)

RND 9: [inc, sc 7] 6 times (54)

Do not fasten off the yarn! You will resume working with it after crocheting the teeth.

Loosen the live loop on your hook (Fig. C), until it is large enough to tie together with the working yarn (Fig. D) - this will prevent your work from unraveling.
